#CAFFEINECRAZY PRODUCTS

Good morning, friends and HAPPY SEPTEMBER! Can you believe it? It’s almost time for hot beverages and a whole latte more #caffeinecrazy (see what I did there?)! I am so excited to launch my first-ever brand-new products, starting with the ONLY mug and iced coffee tumbler specifically designed to bring you some #caffeinecrazy.
They are available NOW in my new shop

Pop on over and grab one before they sell out! The mugs in particular are going fast. They are SO STINKIN’ CUTE if I may so myself, and ultra-cheery.

Spring Things

Enjoying the sunshine, bright lips, and big sunglasses!

Slowly working on my office and pulling a few pretty things together here 🙂

Over the weekend I made some strawberry sauce and lemon curd. YUM!
Then I baked some blueberry muffins to enfold all of that delicious lemony-goodness. It was also delish on shortbread cookies, obviously.
Then of course I had a LOT of dishes to do.
Good thing I have these pretty sink things to make it happy! Pretty colors & aromatherapy soap for the win!
{hot pink pot scrubbie//method frosted fir hand soap//mrs. meyer’s lemon verbena dish soap//mrs. meyer’s radish hand soap//green sponge//wood veggie brush}
I’m obsessed with Mrs. Meyer’s products. And that tiny bottle? Target $1 section (with attached coupon for $1 off a big bottle, so it’s win-win). That’s also where I found this little crate that is going to be perfect to use as part of my Easter table centerpiece! (it’s hanging out on my office shelf above right now!)

PS> Radish sounds weird but it’s actually one of my favorite Mrs. Meyer’s scents, and for some reason reminds me of the cute kitchen I had in my condo in Florida!

And the bunny towel? Smitten. My grandma lovingly embroidered that. I adore it (and her!).

Red Lips + Friday Vlog

Hi friends! It’s Friday and that means another caffeinated vlog from moi 😉
The Friday Things:
1.) I’d love to invite YOU to think up a creative act of humble service for someone close to you. It’s so much fun and I promise you’ll be the recipient of the love just as much as the person you bless.
2.) I’m thinking this lipstick is too much for my pale winter skin right now. Oh well, some days a girl just needs the red lipstick, #amIright?
3.) Jennie Allen’s Restless. Get it.

4.) The song that has the line about chaos to order that I am digging right now.

4.) Maple latte perk your interest? Make it at home, my lovelies! 1/3 of the cup with espresso or hot, strong brewed coffee, 2/3 steamed milk (foamed if you have a whisk or aerator) and 1 Tablespoon maple syrup. Top with the foam from the milk and a drizzle of maple syrup.
Enjoy in a Kate Spade mug because #Friday.

Fancy Friday Vlog

Hey friends! It’s Friday…time for a vlog!
I just have to tell you that God is bringing so much light back to my heart and so much life back to my body. I can just feel it, you know? Like an internal Spring, ha. #blessingsbacktopraise
New theory: The happier I am the crazier/more vintage my outfits get. This is shown in some recent sartorial choices:
Basically I am Blair Waldorf in real life.
Also yes I do have tights with knee patches. Aren’t you jealous? #thoughtso
Anyway, did you watch My Hope with Billy Graham on TV last night? If you didn’t catch it, you can stream it at any time here. You can also see my live tweets if you follow me on Twitter!

Also I read a poem for a contest and if you’re interested you can vote for me here! I’m so not going to win but we can at least maybe keep me out of last place? Yeah that’d be cool.

I hope you have a great weekend!

Monday Vlog and #SavetheDriveIn

Vintage 1950s romper over jeans.
Perfect Drive-in movie outfit.
Let’s talk about something I’m passionate about for a sec:
I LOVE drive-in movie theaters.

I am such a sucker for nostalgia, romance, and the 1950s-60s. Only trouble is, the big movie houses have decided to stop issuing first-run movies on 35mm film, which means nearly every single one of the 360-ish drive-ins left will have to either close forever or upgrade to a digital projector. The big problem with that scenario? Digital projectors cost around $80,000 each
Honda created the #SavetheDriveIn campaign to raise awareness of the issue, raise funds for drive-ins, and to give away FIVE projectors free to the drive-ins with the most votes. You can raise funds, raise awareness, and VOTE for your LOCAL or favorite drive-in HERE. You can vote two ways (text and online) DAILY.
I went to my local drive-in this weekend. Support yours. And by the way, don’t try to sneak in your own snacks…drive-ins pay a premium to show the films and often make hardly anything (if anything) on ticket sales. They make their operating costs from the snack stand. So those $2.50 Snow Caps I bought? Just keepin’ my local drive-in afloat for the next generation. I also let them keep the change on my ticket price towards the new projector. Drive-Ins are part of Americana I feel strongly we should try to save. I don’t know about you, but I want to be able to bring my family to a drive-in.
Everyone, Labor Day weekend may be the last weekend of your local drive-in. Ever. Go show them your support and maybe even let them keep the change from your ticket price towards the cost of a new projector.
Blogger friends, please let your readers know about this! Together let’s #SavetheDriveIn
(PS This is totally just something I’m passionate about and this post is in no way sponsored or anything like that)
